Sharlotte and MarkD have moved to Pennsylvania!Why? Sharlotte's father passed away in September of 1999. Sharlotte & Margot now own the 170 acre farm they grew up on, which is located in Leechburg, PA
The property hasn't really been maintained in the last 10-15 years, and the magnificant farm house hasn't been lived in for the last 30 years. We want to make sure the property doesn't slide even more into disrepair, and eventually restore the old farm house. Also, Sharlotte's 93-year-old grandmother lives in the area, so we figured it'd be a Good Thing to be close by.
Since this will be a multi-year project, we're getting a house (with pictures!) to live in for the next several years.
While we're living in the lap of luxury, work is happening on the farm to restore some of the buildings. We have some pictures of The Barn in progress.
Also, some miscellaneous pictures of friends and family up there, as well as pictures of the Farm In Winter
We also Built a Bridge.
